Frequently pretentious since 1971. Clearly ambiguous since 2000. Completely and utterly incomprehensible since 2006. Warning: may contain synonyms.

I wouldn't classify this under animal fables! The words are too difficult and the style of writing this story is boring. It doesnt put me into deep thought of the morale of the story like most childrens' animal fables do. All that i think of are question marks.

Is the pugnacious Reginald a cousin of the little swallow who plucked out the eyes of the Happy Prince to cheer the poor little match girl, ultimately breaking the Prince's heart? The swallow had fallen in love with the coquettish reed but abandoned her, bellicose, to flirt with the wind. Unlike Reginald the swallow was not fit for the winter chills and fell down dead at the Prince's feet, pathetic. Thank goodness Reginald had the balls to kick up a stink than invest in this sticky sentimentality, although I bet he kept back some of their snap-shots. Has he returned Rodney's nipple clamps ?
