Buy buy buy! Bye bye!

It’s a book! It has blogs! It has shagging! (Oh, it’s actually shaggy, but who has ever let truth come in the way of saying something vaguely salacious?) It has laughs! It has giggles! It has red noses! It comes in a fetching shade of green! It features “blog celebrities”, whatever they are, but more importantly it features bloggers I have never heard of! It’s been put together in just seven days! It will do a lot of good work for charity, but it won’t like to talk about it! It does not, however, feature previously respectable and serious-minded newscasters showing their ‘wacky’ side by getting dressed up in drag to do a cringeworthy song and dance routine! It has - and permit me a rare and highly uncharacteristic moment of indulgent self-promotion here - a piece of writing by yours truly as the first entry! It is Shaggy Blog Stories: a collection of amusing tales from the UK blogosphere and it is out now in all good bookshops! Except it isn’t! It’s here! That’s right! Here! Not there, but here!
