    …possibly not an unbelief!

    rather an interesting statement though.

    Miles Away | 08.16.07, 10:26

Nope. I refuse to believe it. Even your pink lip-shaped post-it notes are oppressively laden with obscure meaning. I’m sure of it!

[Excuse me, while I try my hardest to figure it out.]

    Ani | 08.16.07, 10:39

I do not. That’s merely an eyelid in disguise.

    Jack | 08.16.07, 10:53

Miles Away - Thank you for believing that I can be frivolous.

Ani - Refuse? To believe it? There is no deep and obscure meaning, carefully obfuscated, here. Oh no.

Jack - I do not paint my eyelids such a harlot’s shade of pink! They are lips, I tell you! Lips!

Frivolity is good for the soul

    andre | 08.16.07, 11:29

oh, there is much frivolity. sometimes it hides behind rocks, sometimes it even throws them, but yes.

    Miles Away | 08.16.07, 11:41

Andre - I have swallowed 17 tablets of frivolity this morning. I’m going to see what it does. The name on the packet says ‘Pro Plus’. I think it’s similar to frivolity, anyway.

Miles Away - You have a good point. Next time I throw rocks at someone I will shout “No! Don’t duck! They’re frivolous rocks!”

    An Unreliable Witness | 08.16.07, 11:58

when being the recipient of a sudden shower of frivolous rocks, is it thus advisable to stand and accept?

oh, if rocks of frivolity came in packs of 72 to be taken alongside the finest fuel…

    Miles Away | 08.16.07, 12:21

I think you hit me with a stray frivolous rock because I have a sudden pounding headache.

    Ani | 08.16.07, 12:26

I’ve always believed you were frivolous. I have never believed a deep or obscure word you’ve uttered, even the obfuscated ones.

    bohémienne | 08.16.07, 12:53

    BOTTOMS! WEE WEE! KNICKERS!

(Sorry. Mr Garden’s comments appear to be closed again.)

    Jack | 08.16.07, 14:50

Miles Away - Yes, stand and accept the rocks? Hmm. Only if they’re very, very small ones.

    Ani - Oops. I did shout “duck!”, didn’t I?

Bohémienne - You’re right. Look at the comment below this one. That’s the standard I’ve dropped to.

Miss Jock Pandemonium - This is not that sort of blog. I believe you may be looking for A Bountiful Retribution.

    An Unreliable Witness | 08.16.07, 14:58

hmmm, I might be a bit more convinced if you were to sprinkle it with glitter….

    isabelle | 08.16.07, 15:08

And I didn’t even get to demonstrate my sighing and swooning capabilities. Which are quite considerable, mind you.

    Ani | 08.16.07, 15:09

I’m generally and unapologetically frivilous, and have never had to take Pro Plus to induce frivolity. I’m curious what colour it turns your pee.

    clarissa | 08.16.07, 15:26

no one even reads A Bountiful Retribution anymore.

    it is so 2006.

    andre | 08.16.07, 18:04

I find expectations of frivolity can be quite oppressive.

    drodbar | 08.16.07, 21:49

if those lips were on a part of my body at the sight of which the legion of decency would faint, then yes.

otherwise absolutely not. what fooles do you take us for, sir?!

    kermit | 08.17.07, 06:10

Isabelle - Glitter? Now there’s an idea.

Ani - I have no doubts in your sighing and swooning capabilities. Congratulations.

Clarissa - I will conduct some experiments and get back to you on that one. [Except, I won’t]

Andre - 2006? That recent? Ha.

drodbar - No one is expecting frivolity from me. They have read the rest of this site, and know that it’s distinctly unlikely.

    Kermit - Um. Yes. Cough.

Cheerful One - I’m bleedin’ terrified.

    An Unreliable Witness | 08.17.07, 09:43

Beyond the shadow of a doubt…

    Narziss | 08.17.07, 15:56

Not frivolous at all. It an appropriate and entirely necessary pad to ask woman out on dates with or to leave notes to you your sweet on reminding her of how great she looks in that little sequin dress.

    bluesearuchin | 08.18.07, 04:14

Narziss - Thank you for being so unwavering in your certainty.

blueseaurchin - Duly noted. I shall use it in future. Probably.
