…and raise this tatter as a flag?

    miles away | 03.14.08, 00:21

Marvellous! more than a whiff of the confessions of a serial killer about this.

Can I borrow that pen when you’re done? I want to inflict some literary damage, too.

Miles Away - I raise all these tatters as flags, before throwing them to the wind.

Cheerful One - It’s okay. No pens were harmed in the course of this post.

Jem - I am, regrettably, more of a cereal eater than a serial killer.

Ani - Are you going to poke it in someone’s eye?

~stare~ As someone with a decided penchant for men of a rather sadistic bent, one would thing this post might move me.

Instead, i can’t stop staring at the heavy-handed first letters of each paragraph, the ominous doodles of keys and sharp/shiny scissors, the three eerie horizontal slashes at the top of the page …

Okay. i changed my mind. It’s hot. elise

Elise - Hello and welcome. I can assure you that the various stylistic tics you picked up are just that - stylistic tics. I am not sadistic at all. [Probably.]

Yes, well. Having been a long time reader, i was already fairly certain you weren’t a sadist. The little scissor doodle gave me brief hope and made me wiggle a little.

    Thanks. elise
