Regional outlook

More than ever, there’s an almost unbe­liev­able amount I could be writ­ing here at the moment. About things, about everything. But I’m not. Some of these mys­ter­i­ously indefin­able things are being talked about with people, with friends. Some oth­ers are being kept in here (taps fore­head), because they’re not for pub­lic con­sump­tion. Yes, it’s finally happened — I’m not divul­ging everything to this web site (although I rarely have done, if truth be told). I am, essen­tially, a private person.

Yes, a private per­son with their own pub­lic pres­ence on the inter­net. But that’s beside the point.

Cur­rently, life is about the del­ic­ate bal­ance between tak­ing risks and seek­ing secur­ity. The prob­lem is that I want to do both and neither at the same time. Con­fu­sion reigns.
